Frequently asked questions

About paying in installments

How does paying in installments online work? (via Klarna)

With Klarna, you can pay for your booking online easily and securely. At checkout, you select Klarna then payment in 3 installments at 0% interest: your first payment is taken right away, and the next two are automatically charged each month, with no additional fees. For example, a €300 mixing session is paid in 3 installments of €100.

What happens if I can't make a monthly payment?

If you have trouble making a payment, the right reflex is simple: contact Cofidis or your financial advisor as soon as possible. The first thing to do is to let them know about your situation.

If you ignore a missed payment, there can be negative consequences. You risk late fees and additional interest, and your payment incident could be reported, which would damage your credit history.

In short, if you anticipate or run into a problem making a monthly payment, contact Cofidis quickly to find an amicable solution.

How do I know if I'm eligible? (via Cofidis)

Cofidis applies certain eligibility criteria to grant financing. Here are the main conditions to meet:

  • Age: be of legal age, meaning at least 18 years old,
  • Residence: live in France on a stable basis, with a fixed address (P.O. boxes are not accepted),
  • Employment status: have a regular income. This can be salaried employment, self-employment (freelancer, auto-entrepreneur), a retirement or disability pension, etc. In other words, have a source of income that allows you to repay the credit. A stable contract (permanent contract, civil servant, etc.) is an asset, but it isn't an absolute requirement as long as your income is deemed sufficient.
  • Personal application : the Cofidis financing offered is a consumer credit intended for individuals. You must apply in your own name, not on behalf of a company or an association. Cofidis does not finance legal entities through this service, only individuals.

What documents do I need to apply for financing? (via Cofidis)

To put together your Cofidis financing application, you need to provide several supporting documents.

A complete, up-to-date application increases your chances of approval. Here are the documents usually requested:

  • A valid ID document, for example a national ID card or passport (for each borrower, and co-borrower if applicable). Make sure your ID hasn't expired and is clearly legible (full front and back).
  • Bank account details (RIB) in your name, for an account in France (IBAN/BIC format, SEPA zone). These details will be used to set up the monthly direct debits.
  • Proof of address less than 3 months old, for example an electricity or phone bill, or a recent rent receipt in your name.
  • Proof of income. The most common is to provide your latest pay slips (for example last month's pay slip, if you're an employee). Cofidis may also ask for your latest tax notice (usually the one from the last two years) to check your annual income. If you have a co-borrower, these documents may be required for both people.
  • Your latest bank statement (last monthly statement) may be required to show your recent financial situation. This document shows your regular expenses and any other ongoing loans.

Can I repay all or part of the credit early? (via Cofidis)

Yes, of course! The law allows you to repay your credit early, in part or in full, at any time. This means that if your finances allow it, you can pay off your credit sooner than planned.

By repaying early, you reduce the total cost of the loan, since you no longer pay interest on the months of credit you eliminate.

As a general rule, Cofidis does not charge a penalty for early repayment. These terms are governed by the French Consumer Code and will be specified in your contract.

In short, you can absolutely repay your credit ahead of time, in part or in full, to reduce your monthly payments or close your financing sooner.

How much is the interest? (via Cofidis)

The amount of interest depends on the type of financing and the repayment period you choose. Cofidis offers several installment payment plans, which can be either at 0% for you, or with interest depending on the option selected.

In all cases, transparency comes first. Before you sign anything, the Cofidis simulator will show you the rate and the exact amount of interest for your financing. You'll know the total cost of the credit in advance (amount borrowed + any interest), so you can decide with full knowledge of the facts.

How do I start a financing application? (via Cofidis)

Starting your Cofidis financing application with Hedayat Music is quick and easy. We guide you step by step so everything goes smoothly. Here's how it works:

  1. Contact us and define your project: Get in touch with our team (by phone, email or in person at the studio) and tell us you'd like to pay in installments. We'll discuss your project together (type of service, amount to finance, etc.) to define your needs. It's also a chance to run a simulation: we can estimate, for example, what your financing would look like over 3 installments, 5 installments, 10 installments, etc., and see which monthly payment suits you best.
  2. Preparing your file and applying online: Once you're ready and have chosen a financing plan, we launch the application. In practice, this is done through Cofidis's secure platform. You'll fill out (with our help if needed) an online form with your personal information, the amount to finance and the chosen duration. This step covers standard information (civil status, address, employment status, income, etc.). If you're at the studio, we can guide you step by step as you enter this information. The form ends with the electronic signature of your credit application (a text message code will be sent to you to validate your signature, for example).
  3. Sending your supporting documents: After filling out the form, you'll be asked to provide the supporting documents (see question 3 above for the list of required documents). You can send these documents directly online (by scanning or photographing them clearly). If you do it with us at the studio, we can help you digitize and upload each document. It's important that the documents are clearly legible and up to date to avoid any delays.
  4. Cofidis review and response: Once the application is complete and the supporting documents are sent, your file goes to Cofidis for review. The good news is that you usually get an almost immediate preliminary answer at the end of the online application. Within a few seconds to a few minutes, Cofidis gives an agreement in principle (or a refusal) based on the information provided. If approved, you receive a confirmation (often by email with a summary of the offer and your payment schedule). Final approval, however, may take a little extra time while Cofidis checks your supporting documents.
  5. Final approval and setup: After the agreement in principle, Cofidis will check that all your documents are compliant. If everything is in order, final acceptance of the credit is granted. You'll be notified (by email and/or mail). From then on, the financing is officially in place: Cofidis will pay the financed amount directly to Hedayat Music (or according to the agreed process), and all you have to do is follow the planned repayment schedule (monthly direct debits). Your project can then start with peace of mind, with the financing secured!
