How does a recording session at Hedayat Music work?
Once you arrive at our studio (Paris 11th), the sound engineer in charge of your session greets you. He introduces himself, offers you a coffee, tea or water, and then it's off to the studio. All that's left is to send him the instrumentals (MP3 or WAV) of the songs you want to sing. From the control room, he guides and supports you throughout the session for the best possible result.
Studio A or Studio B, which one should you choose?
Studio A is our signature studio: the most spacious, up to 4 people, a booth with a view of the control room and a Brauner VM1 microphone. It's the ideal choice to think big, bring people along or treat yourself to our best experience. Studio B is more intimate, designed for solo artists or duos, in a cozy, hushed space. Both offer the same support from a pro sound engineer.
What are Studio A's rates?
1 hour for €80, 2 hours for €160, 4 hours for €250 if you're 27 and over, and €200 for 4 hours if you're under 27. Rates apply for up to 4 people, excluding public holidays, and decrease when you book 3 sessions or more together. Sound engineer and rough mix always included.
It's my first session with you, is there an offer?
Yes. Your first 4-hour session in Studio A gets 10% off with the code BIENVENUE-RECA, to enter in your cart. It's valid once per artist, for ages 27 and over. If you're under 27, you already get your reduced rate all year round.
How do I use the Pass Culture to record?
The Pass Culture gives you a budget to spend at cultural venues, including our studios. Log in at pass.culture.fr, search for "Hedayat Music", and choose your activity: 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours of recording in Studio A or B, singing lessons or music production lessons.
What gear is the studio equipped with?
Brauner VM1 microphone, Universal Audio Apollo x audio interface, Focal SM9 monitoring, Pro Tools 12 and Cubase Pro 15 software, Melodyne, Waves Audio suite, UAD Ultimate, and hundreds of plug-ins and virtual instruments. And the full list goes on.
Can I book on a public holiday?
Yes, you can. A surcharge applies on public holidays, shown when you book. Offers (under-27 rate, multi-session discount) still apply.
Vocal coach or videographer during my session, what does that mean?
A vocal coach helps you warm up and place your voice, and work on your breathing and intonation. A videographer comes to film you at the end of the session from several angles: you receive your edited video a few days later, to keep or post on your socials. These options are available as a package (see above) or as add-ons to your session.
