Frequently asked questions
Coaching only or coaching + vocal recording, which one should you choose?
The "Coaching + 4-hour vocal recording" package is the complete option: you book your session and your coach in a single slot. Choose "Coaching only" (€390) only if you've already booked your studio session separately: we simply add the coach to that slot.
I've never recorded in a studio, can I come?
Of course, and we'd love to have you. Our studios are open to everyone, whatever your age and level. The coach and the sound engineer are there to put you at ease, show you how to position yourself at the mic and guide you throughout the session, in a warm, upbeat atmosphere. Beginner, semi-pro or experienced, the coach adapts to your voice.
What are the rates, and how does the Pass Culture work?
Coaching only is €390 (4 hours). With vocal recording: from €540 in Studio B and €590 in Studio A. The Pass Culture gives you a €150 budget to spend at cultural venues, including our studios. To use it: log in at pass.culture.fr, type "Hedayat Music" in the search bar, and choose your activity (1, 2 or 4 hours of recording in Studio A or B, singing lessons, and more).
How many songs can we record in 4 hours?
As many as you like in your 4 hours. Usually, we take the time to polish one song thoroughly: warm-up, several takes, and the coach fine-tuning you as you go. Depending on your pace and your songs, some people leave with several tracks.
What are the studios equipped with?
Pro gear: high-end microphones, Universal Audio interfaces, and on the software side Pro Tools, Cubase Pro, Melodyne, the Waves Audio suite, UAD Ultimate, plus around a hundred effect plug-ins for vocals and instruments. Everything is set up to capture and process your voice in the best conditions.
