Vocal coaching, step by step
The vocal coach starts by talking with the artist about what they want for the song. Then they help them warm up their voice, find their position at the mic, and work on their breathing, intonation and the pronunciation of their lyrics.
Throughout the session, the coach encourages them, suggests trying several takes and can offer ideas for harmonies, depending on the song and the goals. Meanwhile, the sound engineer supports and records the artist.
Vocal coaching suits every level: it helps beginners get started with the right support, and helps seasoned singers go even further.
And for other ideas: a filmed session, a private singing or music production lesson, or, for groups of 5 or more, group formats with drinks to listen to the final result.
How a session works
When the artist arrives at the studio, in Paris 11th, the sound engineer and the vocal coach welcome them with a coffee, tea or a glass of water. The artist shares their instrumentals, then the coach helps them give their very best vocal performance throughout the recording.
An experience open to everyone
Beginner or experienced, everyone gets support. The coach and the sound engineer adapt to each person.
