Frequently asked questions
What are separate tracks (stems), and how do I get them?
They're the parts of your song exported one by one: vocals, instruments, backing vocals, effects. Your beatmaker or your music software can give them to you. Send them to us before your session and we'll check them for free: it saves us both time.
Mixing or mastering, which one do I need?
The two go hand in hand. Mixing balances the tracks of your song, mastering finalizes the file once it's mixed. To release your track with radio and streaming quality, the ideal is to do both. We start with mixing, and mastering (€150, or €100 if you're under 27) comes next.

Is there a package that includes recording?
Yes, there are two packages: Recording session + Mixing, and Recording session + Mixing + Mastering, so you can make your whole song with us, from start to finish. We'll talk it through when you book.
It's my first mixing session with you. Is there an offer?
Yes. Your first mixing session gets 10% off with the code BIENVENUE-MIX, entered at checkout. It's valid once per artist, for ages 27 and over.
Do I need to be there during the session?
We recommend it: mixing is a creative step, and your live feedback makes all the difference. You can come to the studio, follow the session by video call, or let us work on our own, whichever you prefer.
Can I reschedule my session?
Yes, rescheduling is free up to 72 hours before your booked slot. You stay free to adjust your schedule with complete peace of mind.
How does it work with the Pass Culture?
For under-27s, the session is €300. The Pass Culture covers €150 of it, and you pay the rest directly. Mastering on its own (€150) can be fully covered by the Pass Culture.
